Vegard advises owners, boards and executive teams on executive search, leadership assessment and organisational clarity. His work focuses on industrial, energy, technology and production-driven companies, as well as growth-oriented SMEs characterised by active ownership. He is recognised for his analytical depth, structured methodology and calm judgement in complex or ambiguous decision environments.
Before joining PU, Vegard worked at PwC with organisational development, HR transformation and large-scale change programmes. This experience gave him strong insight into how leadership, strategy and operational discipline interact in practice.
He combines technical and commercial understanding with behavioural expertise, drawing on earlier experience in engineering, risk analysis and project management. Clients value his ability to understand context quickly, communicate with clarity and deliver balanced, evidence-based evaluations of leaders and teams.
Vegard is certified in NEO-PI-3, CFT 20-R and TOP, and trained in both traditional and agile project management (PRINCE2). He holds an MSc in Industrial Economics and a BSc in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Stavanger, including an exchange programme in the United States.
