Terje advises owners, boards and executive teams on executive search, leadership evaluation and senior appointments across industrial, energy, retail and technology-driven organisations. He is a trusted advisor to several large Norwegian companies and their owners, supporting critical leadership decisions where operational performance and governance expectations are closely linked.
Before joining Personal Utvelgelse in 2000, Terje held senior executive roles including HR Director and Sales Director in a leading Norwegian retail chain. This experience provides him with strong practical insight into leadership accountability, commercial responsibility and organisational dynamics from an operator’s perspective.
He served as Managing Director of PU from 2007 to 2019 and has played a central role in shaping the firm’s development and long-term client relationships. Clients value his experience, steady judgement and ability to combine strategic perspective with practical execution.
Terje is certified in several psychological assessment tools, including NEO-PI-3, CFT 20-R, TOP, BOMAT and D2-R. He holds a degree in Business Administration from BI Norwegian Business School (Handelsakademiet BI) in Oslo.
